Jakarta, January 23, 2025 – PT Pertamina (Persero) remains committed to consistently implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
This commitment includes improving public information governance. Pertamina is enhancing the competency of communication officers or information service officers from Subholdings and subsidiaries across Indonesia through technical training for Pertamina’s Public Information and Documentation Officers (PPID).
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, emphasized that this training serves as a foundation for equipping all officers to implement effective public information governance.
“This technical training is also a form of implementing the integration of information services within the Pertamina Group and demonstrates our synergy with the Central Information Commission,” explained Fadjar.
He added that the information service functions within the Pertamina Group have been trained in the procedures for determining Public Information Lists based on classifications such as periodic, immediate, on-demand, and exempted information.
“The 2025 PPID technical training theme, Energizing the Information, serves as motivation and a new spirit to provide information energy to the public,” Fadjar stated.
Over the past four years, Pertamina has earned the title of Informative Public Institution awarded by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia through a series of assessments under the Self-Assessment Questionnaire for Public Information Disclosure Monitoring and Evaluation (MONEV KIP).
“In 2024, Pertamina achieved its highest-ever score of 97.97, a milestone made possible by the support of each function, Subholding, and Pertamina Group subsidiary,” Fadjar revealed.
He expressed hope that in 2025, Pertamina will continue to enhance the quality of public information services provided by its PPID while involving the entire Pertamina Group.
At the same event, Donny Yoesgiantoro, Chair of the Central Information Commission of Indonesia, praised Pertamina’s achievements as an Informative Public Institution. “I hope this transparency in information continues to benefit the public and involves the community as part of the information exchange with Public Institutions,” Donny remarked in his address at the Pertamina PPID technical training event.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina’s business lines and operations.**
